It is the end of the semester and the time to look at myself and say what has I achieve (or failed at) At the beginning of studies, I set next traits to develop or improve: English speaking skill, Goal Orientation, Time Management and Self-Reflecting skill. Let's start with the speech. I can boldly claim that my speech undoubtedly improved. Natives in my class can confirm it. Goal Orientation: FAILED. I didn't knew what I want to get in the future and I still don't know it. Time Management: FAIL. I still go to sleep very late leaving very little time for it. And my situation of starting doing my works just few days before the deadlines hasn't changed. I have to work on it harder. Self-Reflecting: can't say for sure. I still don't know how to reflect, no matter who and how I asked. Is it a simple learning from mistakes? Then why do I have to speak about it? However, I develop some competences I didn't aim at. With all the Reading Circle classes, I became to understand customers better. Customer understanding is indeed an important skill in life. In addition, thanks to Business Plan Competition and some other cases, I've got some experience in presenting. At the beginning I couldn't present anything no matter who is the audience. Now I feel better, more confident and sweat less, He-he. That's it. I will retry where I failed and attempt to develop new traits in the next semester.

Today, 8 May 2017, Apple reached a new high score in market capitalization. It passed $800 billion and stopped at $817.4 billion according to NASDAQ AAPL index. Isn't that amazing? I am not a huge fun of Apple and their I-series products, but the numbers are incredible, if you think about it. Take, for example, a Turkey's GDP. By 23 April 2017, it's $793 billions. Apple has more money then Turkey. And Turkey is 17th in the list of countries by GDP. And there are ~193 countries in the list. It means Apple is richer than 177 countries of our Planet. Basically, Apple can found a new state. After thoroughly thinking about that, I have a controversial opinion. On one side, it is awesome. Apple is doing great and demonstrates a great results, an example of a successful company. On the other, however, it shows how uneven wealth is distributed in our world. No matter what, It's a wonderful time to live in. And one more. The price for 1 Bitcoin has exceeded $1,800. It worth more than gold now. Just WOW.
