Who I am?
I am Aleksandr Rodionov, a man from Saint Petersburg, Russia, former student of Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and currently student of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science in Porvoo Campus in Finland, studying at International Sales and Marketing degree programme.
Why Finland?
Better say, Why not? 6-th happiest county in the world, Very good people and modest people, high standards of living and a good weather, almost the same as in Russia (I am one of those rare people who like cold days). Haaga-Helia is the best University of Applied Science in Finland, pretty famous in Russia and has a lot of international connections. A good package, I'd say.
What are my goals?
I haven't defined my aims for life and post-graduation stage, but I will figure it out sooner or later. As for short-time plans, I am want to start with becoming a better and more responsible person. For the first steps, I would like to improve myself in such things as: Goal orientation (what I lack the most), Time management (At least to start sleep more than 4-6 hours a day), Self-Reflection skill (I am quite bad at self-assessment).
During the process, I hope to change my way of thinking and switch from scientific approach to entrepreneurial mindset and thus start see things in another perspective. For that, I need to start, at least, to speak differently, more professional and be surrounded by professionals. Luckily, Haaga-Helia is full of professionals.
At the end of my studies I am willing to finally find my place and purpose in this vast world.
